Austin Ribbon Microphone Alignment Jig by guitartoys

This is a jig to make it much easier to install, align and tension a ribbon in an Austin Ribbon Microphone Ribbon Motor (element). www.diyribbonmic.com
Rick at DIY has a great ribbon microphone kit, and this jig makes it a snap to install a ribbon into the motor. Use 2 brass nuts to hold and help center the ribbon, then tighten the ribbon clamps down one end at a time.
