Anycubic i3 Mega S printhead cable strain-relief
I designed this because I did not find a simple cable strain-relief for the Anycubic i3 Mega S that didn't require an elaborate print. Also, I route my cable via the front instead of under the arch where it might pinch. in addition, I also gain a few millimeters in clearance when done this way. This is a simple and lightweight design that is sturdy. It serves its purpose without faff nor adding too much weight to your printhead. No extra hardware to needed besides cable ties. It's a clip-on design that uses friction and a tight fit to hold it in place. Also it is printed without supports needed. Orient this so it prints on its back.
INSTALLATION:
Remove your print head cover that holds the fans; this will be the two M3 screws on the top front, and another two M3 screws on the back near the bottom ball bearings.
Unplug your fans; paying attention to which plug each fan goes back into.
Unscrew the three M3 bolts holding the breakout board where the cable plugs into.
Lower the breakout board with the cable so you have enough space to clip the strain relief mount on. Push the mount all the way forward.
Push your cable back up and re-assemble everything in the reverse order that you removed them.
Zip-tie the cable through the zip-tie holes provided to secure and strain-relief the cable.
