This is a table-top stand for an AirTanksForSale.com-style high-pressure "Alpha" molecular sieve air-drying filter. ( http://www.airtanksforsale.com/AlphaFilter/ ) These filters need to be oriented vertically to function correctly, and have their fitting on the ends, meaning it's virtually impossible to use them without strapping them to a wall or other vertical surface... I don't like those limitations, so I made this!
This stand holds the filter in the correct orientation and leaves room for the input connection hose to snake out of the bottom, best of all you can use it on any flat surface! A strong rubber band or some tape are recommended to help clamp the top together and keep the filter firmly in place in on the stand.
