This is the laser cutter I've spent alot of time on a few months ago, It uses a gantry crane design to cheaply and effectively make a laser cutter that is very accurate. It requires 2x nema 17 motors, 1/4-20 threaded rod, 1/8in smooth rod, 1/8 bearings, 1/4-20 threaded nut, laser assembly, a 3d printer (duh), and some ingenuity. At 13y/o I can design virtually anything in solidworks, and 3d print it with my da vinci, but i'm not great at grbl programming. That's where I could use some help setting this up so I can further this project and get some fully working prototypes, as the only way of testing lately is with some arduino script running easy drivers in basic patterns. This design has worked very well so far with some aluminum sheet as a base to screw the assembly onto, software is the major roadblock.
