Many Thanks Again to "Ericthepoolboy"
This Engine has been Scaled down to 1/10th Size,, i have been asked a few times to do this for 1/10th Model Makers,,who aren't to good with Slic3ing Software but are good with there Hand Tools and just needed the Basic Block and Head Exhaust ect,,,so i Just found a Nice Balance with the Scale Size for them to use,
I have Built a Support for the Engine Block,,, But have include a Non- Support Version if you want to use your Slic3rs
All the Part are in the Zipped Folder
The the Main Shafts/Rods will be around 1.5mm ,,i large majority of the holes are 1.2mm
Screws will need to be 0.8mm to 1.5mm thick.,,
Building a Working version of this Engine at this Scale would be impossible for most
People,,, many of the small parts would need to be Hand Made,, but there a few people out there that would be able to do it--
This would be more of a Glue Up Non-working engine for most people
There is No Hardware List.. use whatever you can to make it Work,,,
The Bare Engine Block is 72mm Long and 60mm wide
See Eric Original engine for Building Instruction
The Scale Down Factor i use is 60% ( so 0.4 in your slic3r) if you want use Erics Original STL files in your Slic3r,, This Scale Factor should work with Erics Other Pan-Head V8 too,,
I printed the Engine Block and Valve Heads @ 0.2mm Layer High and 0.4mm Layer Width- the speed was slow around 20mm/sec,, it took about 13hours to Print the engine Block
Also reduce your Filament Retraction amount a Fair Bit,,, there are a few spots that have a heavy amount of Retraction moves that Might give your Extruder Jam Problems if you Don't,, i set mine to 0.5mm which worked fine
All the Credit goes to Eric for this Engine ,,,
Sorry for the Shitty Photos
