This is a quick and dirty wall-mount cradle for the Sabrent USB 3.1 to SATA 2.5" adapter that everyone seems to have. I use this to hold an SSD as a boot drive for a Raspberry Pi that's attached to the wood panel that my network equipment is mounted on.
There's a top and a bottom part to it that are attached with four M3*10 bolts mated with standard M3 hex nuts. There's a slide port on the side for fastening the drive through the standard 2.5" mounting points, also using M3*10 bolts, with about a centimeter of lateral slide to accommodate drive variances. All bolts and nuts are recessed and sit flush with or below the surface.
There's also two wall mounting tabs on the bottom inside of the cradle that are countersunk to fit smaller wood screws, with about 1-1.5 mm of clearance between surface and drive to allow for screws that don't sit flush with the countersinking.
Have fun, and let me know if you find something that could be improved!
