Small update 13-05-2018
-Now with locking feature by using the hotshoe mount of the camera for extra rigidity!
-Improved accessibility ISO button
-Made the hotshoe mount width smaller to better fit accesories
-Extra screw mount near HDMI port

-Screw mount on the right made horizontal instead of angle

This is a cage/armor for the Pananonic GH4 Photo / movie camera. Make sure you get good bed adhesion or else the edges might curl up a bit when printed in ABS. I recommend kapton tape + hairspray. Print at about 85% infill for added strength and use supports. Use a vile + sandpaper to clean up the print afterwards and give it an acetone vapor treatment for a pro look!
Add the 3/8th to 1/4th inch screw threads by screwing them in the designated holes. Its a tight fit and might take a while to get them all in, but that's the only way they are firmly secured in the plastic. The 2 thin pads you can glue where the camera sits for anti-slip.
I use this daily for my GH4 and it has been just as good as the metal ones.
