MSX ST3 Allure 1.4T (D50)

This is the all new 5th generation MSX ST3 small sedan. It replaces the nose heavy Audi style drivetrain layout for the more conventional one shared with the ISO Boston. We wanted to create a more exciting and fun to drive car than it's predecessor, which despite AWD and a powerful engine, was considered bland and lacked the soul of it's stablemates. 3 mode All wheel drive remains standard, but it's been heavily revised and is now more rear biased in normal conditions. The result is more balanced handling and an involving driving experience, a proper MSX with excellent ride and handling. Four specification levels will be offered; Allure, S, Ignite and GS, with three engines; a 1.4 and 1.6 litre turbo I4s and a 2.0L turbo diesel I4, all are availiable with a 6 speed manual or DCG auto. The base model Allure is offered with the 1.4T or 2.0CTDI engines, the 1.4T in this example has 152hp(112kW,154PS) and 170ft lb(230Nm). Standard features in the Allure include air conditioning, AM/FM and digital radio, iPod, bluetooth streaming, CD player, 7 airbags, TC, DSC, alloy wheels, parking sensors and reversing camera. It's made in the US, Poland and Thailand. It costs US$17,210, AU$21,450, £17,490, 16,590, BS.F 334,100, R$59,600.
