MSX ST2 Allure Bluepower (C51)

The C5 series MSX ST2 is a compact car replacing the C4. Like the C4, the C5 is rear wheel drive and is available as a hatch or wagon, and sedan has been introduced. The C42 coupe was replaced last year by the C50 ST2 Stelvio. The sedan will not be sold in North America as an MSX. This new generation ST2 has choice of 6 engines; a 1.4, 1.6L and 2.0L turbo I4s, a 2.0L turbo diesel I4, a 2.8L twin turbo I6 in MSX/R's GTS version and a new 1.2L turbo three cylinder, known as the Bluepower. This engine, which is offered as a base engine in the Allure and Ignite produces 131hp,98kW@6200rpm and 175Nm@2700rpm, to drive either a six speed manual or DCT auto. The Bluepower offers outstanding fuel consumption for a non-hybrid petrol engine, as well as strong performance and reduced weight, which improves handling. The base model Allure is also offered with the 1.4T or 2.0CTDI engines. As the title states, this example has the 1.2 Bluepower. Standard features in the Allure include air conditioning, AM/FM and digital radio, iPod, bluetooth streaming, CD player, 7 airbags, TC, DSC, alloy wheels, parking sensors and reversing camera. It's made in the Germany, Australia and the US (a new plant in Kentucky). It costs US$18,900, AU$21,450, £17,490, 16,590, BS.F 341,100, R$60,950.
