This is a three-stamp holder for the lenticular/3D stamps made in the 1970s.
Probably a pretty limited demand item... arcane if you will.
Both space+car stamps can be found on the usual auction sites, if you're interested.
Anyway, this mount will hold three of them.
Print with a brim... you can leave the brim on at the end of the print if you want to stand it on a table OR tear the brim off if you want to mount them flat in some kind of book.
I printed on clear smooth PLA from Polylite coz that stuff gives awesome results, is easy to print with and polishes up when you humidify it with alcohol, which is a light solvent to smooth PLA.
Well, I do most of my prints in smooth PLA nowadays. It's just easier to get the texture right. But you don't have to. Print with anything you want. GET THOSE STAMPS ON DISPLAY! Hehe.
April 1 2020 - This project is SO IMPORTANT that I put TWO photos up showing how wonderful lenticular stamps look on display. OK go get'em... no more excuses.
