Hard Drive Carrier – 4 x 3.5” HDD with Comfort Grip Handle by SoPro

This nifty little carrier allows easy transport of 4 regular 3.5” HDD drives. It features a comfortable carry handle that can be rotated to the side for easy loading. Printed thick enough for safe handling while removing any extra material for a quicker print.
I use a rotation of 8 different drives for my server backups and needed a way to carry them from my fire safe to my garage server. Sounds like an easy task but my trip involves ice, snow, mud and puddles. So I got tired of juggling drives and decided to draw this up a few days ago.
Already enjoying how easy this is. I printed the carrier at .2 and my handle/bolts at .1 on my trusty CR-10. I wanted to ensure a tight but movable joint on the handle so added some collars and threaded bolt for strength. Might have gotten a little too creative on it but it works pretty well. I tried printing with supports on both pieces but deformed the holes a bit (Probably best without them).
The handle and carrier needed a bit of cleaning with a reamer for a nice fit. Also thread the bolt in first to cut the tight threads, remove and then install the handle. Finish the bolts up with a dab of crazy glue on the inside of the carrier threading.
