Fort Organization is a desk organization item that can hold files, and most office supplies. It has three main features: three spaces for files and papers, two compartments for erasers and a writing utensil holder. This design is small enough to fit on most desks and most build plates for printers (5in x 5in x 5in) while still being useful to the student. The castle design allows it to be functional and become a decoration piece for your desk.
The main issues were designing something that can be useful to a student while being compact enough to fit on most build plates while being useful. A file holder of this size would either look too small for a file or would not be able to support any documents.
If I could redesign it, I would want to add more details, like brick patterns or even adding vines near the windows.
3D Printing strengthened this design by making this design available to more people. As long as someone has a 3D printer this design can be printed. Also, the way that 3D printers lays down materials allows this design to be sturdy and light, so it can be easily moved.
