The Dragon hot end does not fit directly to the Creality CR-6 SE and Max strain gauge. The hot end is however shorter than the stock hot end giving room to build an adapter to mount it to the hot end.
The adapter is specifically built to pair with the BMG mount directly to the hot end https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4827199. A revision of the adapter for Bowden tube connection is under development. Adapting it to several other types of hot ends should be relatively easy. The STEP files are included.
Print in PLA or PETG (I used PLA for its greater stiffness) with 0.20 or 0.24 mm layer height. 0.44 mm layer width and 4 perimeter and top/bottom layers to give the hot melts plenty of material to grip. Infill at 50%.
I use the high flow version and ran some speed tests. The hot end easily extrudes up to 500 mm/min or 20 mm3/s of PLA at 210 C.
Extrusion tests were done with a 0.4 mm nozzle running up to 300 mm/s and acceleration of 2250 mm/s2 (the Y-gantry starts to make noise and can hardly cope with the speed, the extrusion easily keeps up).
