I remixed this to use less plastic and keep airflow open more around the extruder motor. Also offset the mount for use with E3D V6 Hot End and BMG Clone. I am running a pancake stepper and it gets to about 55-60c max with the heat sink on it.
I also added a strain relief to attach the cables and split loom to. I have a strain relief of similar design that I mount to the printer frame for the other end, I will post it soon.
So far I am very happy with this set up and I run a cable support from a hook in my garage ceiling to keep the cables from drooping.
I print this standing up with supports, show in print orientation.
Thanks to the original creator and the other remixes for inspiration.
I use soldering iron to heat press the aluminum v-wheel spacers into the mount.
Printer I used is actually and Ender 5 Plus, not listed in printers list yet.
