Carpets / Rug Grips , As we have had problems keeping thick heavy mats in place I made some printable grips, Spikes on one side & using double-sided tap on the other & have worked better than expected.
There are 3 sizes, 200 x 65, 250 x 65 & 275 x 65, To almost any size printer, have found longer thinner more flexible the way to go rather than a Large square.
These might show a little more depending on how thick your carpet / Rugs are & of course the thinner the double-sided tape the better.
Clean the back of the Grip with methylated spirits & apply double-sided tape, Stick the spike side into carpet & lay your rug on top, Stomping &/ or a rubber mallet works well.
ABS, PLA PETG Filaments have all worked for this project.
Layer 0.2mm, 15% Infill, Speed 50mm/s, Doesn't need to look a million dollars so whatever speed you can get away with taking care that the spikes turn out properly.
