Very much work in progress...
Quad is based on using
Mystery A1510-15 Brushless Outrunner Motor (search ebay)
12A ESC (running Simon K firmware)
5" props
Area in the middle is design to fit a OpenPilot revo in the 3d printed case I designed
Anti Vibration PCB Shock Vibration Mounts and M3 Screws are used to hold the arms to the body (search ebay)
Update - 1 Oct
Arms are done. Could maybe remove a bit of material to lighten it as they seem pretty strong, but will wait until it flies to see if it needs to lose the weight.
Update - 3 Oct
Ran the body through a repairer and it now prints fine! Can now build a basic quad. Will put one together and then next steps are to work out how to redesign the body so all the ESC, RX, battery etc have nice spots to go.
Update - 7 Oct
Changed the body to fit an OpenPilot Revolution flight controller and added some rails to attach wires/batteries to.
