I wanted more bass from my background music, and liked the 36mm speaker mod for the x9 but of course the Qx7 has almost no space between the stock speaker mount and the transmitter board, so I needed a new place for my speaker upgrade.
My unused module bay was the obvious answer!
So I took the great fitting module bay cover and 36mm speaker mod pulled them together in tinkercad here so you all can customize it however you like and printed it out.
It's a perfect fit!
Like so good, I was going to epoxy the speaker in, but it is being pressed just the right amount down by the cover that no glue is needed! No rattles at all! (of course you can still glue the speaker in if you want.)
