Hi all,
This is my version of the FrSky QX7, perfect for travelling around and in a compact format.
The Tx has all things a Qx7 has, including Trims, original monitor etc etc. though it currently lacks of USB port / SD Slot but that can be added or melted / cut by you.
I hope you enjoy it please be free to remix it to your needs. It can be produced a little less tall but I won't have time to print anything for a while so I stopped there and look forward to your mods! ;)
If you need a different format to work with just write it down in the comments.
I printed the main frame in PLA and the buttons in TPU. You may need to melt a little in the lower corners next to the display of the bottom part to fit the main PCB but it'll work out well. Furthermore I'd encourage you to strip down the TBS JR adapter and replace the connectors by wires to make it even more compact.
In additon, you'll need four M3 50mm (at least 45mm -for the main frame), two M3 20mm screws and two M3 Locknuts for the display. As a personal preference, I added LiIon holders and routed the wires for external loading and balancing to the lower left corner of the Tx, so you can add those holders or solder the batteries directly and add an xt30 as well as 2s balancer connector to your shopping list.
FYI I used this kind of holders:https://www.reichelt.de/batteriehalter-fuer-1-18650-zelle-ha-1x18650-sa-p141631.html?PROVID=2788&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIxar39Lrz6wIVBOntCh2prgUJEAQYAiABEgKOyPD_BwE&&r=1
And now, enjoy!
