This is a model of a real-life house located at 1878 Knox Street in Cincinnati's South Fairmount neighborhood, atop Knox Hill. Constructed in 1922, this small vernacular Craftsman-style bungalow is one of the most recent buildings constructed in the area, which went into decline relatively early, peaking in population during the mid-1920s with an influx of Italian Immigrants, and seeing a steady decline ever since in the wealth of the residents. Today, this small house has been restored and renovated, along with several others in the neighborhood's Knox Hill section, which has seen some improvement in the last decade, but remains a rather underserved and undervalued area.
