The idea is to replace the crappy ft5 extruder with a prusa extruder that uses the e3dv6 hotend or a clone of it.
You will need the e3dv6 or clone hotend, a mk9 pinion gear to pull the filament, one 30X30mm fan, one 40mm radial fan and the prusa extruder parts that should also be printed in abs.
I´m adding the MK2 prusa extruder files and a few gcodes to be printed on a prusa i3 mk2 if you have access to one or just print them on your ft5 and see what comes out.
Print in ABS 40% or so of infil and 2 or 3 perimeters and tops.
