This is a redesigned mainspring for @TheGoofy's 3D-Printed Watch with Tourbillion.
My Rep2X only has 150mm on the Y-axis, so I needed to redesign the mainspring to fit in the print area.
I did my best to keep the length of the coil the same. @TheGoofy's spring was ~2117mm long as best I can tell. v1 one is ~2096mm. v1.1 is ~2119mm.
I have not printed or tested it. I am waiting for the shafts and screws to arrive before I start building one of my own. This could be completely wrong. I own't know until I get further into replicating @TheGoofy's awesome build.
You can find the model on OnShape for now, until I decide to clean up my OnShape documents and delete the model someday. You can adjust the helixes in OnShape to adjust the length, but you just need to make sure the number of turns on each helix matches up with the start angle of the next helix. i just adjust the outermost helix to tweak the overall length of the spring.
Your mileage may vary. If you decide to print this, just be aware that it might not fit and might not work!
P.S. If anyone knows why I can't post comments on Thingiverse, please let me know!
