manufacturers try to built wind turbine the highter they can but you will never built a 2000 meters high to catch wind.
inspired by the breakdance mouvement "coupole", this wind turbine can make move 12 blades alternatively as an wind mill as an propeller. the consequence is this wind turbine doesn't need tower and can stay in air to catch a powerful and constant wind in high altitude. 2 rail ensure the movement in 2 axes of rotation and the intern rail can make the blade change its angle of attack. blade are lead to the rotor by 2 pivots. the key here is the difference between the lift coefficient and drag coefficient. this is why i chose an epp 591 for the blade (check on airfoiltools.com, this ratio is very good for that profile). To decrease the drag, we need an elliptic variation of the lift. But the speed increase with length so the lift increase by square with the length. To keep an elliptic lift, I decrease the lift surface proportionally to the lift on the length. and made a elliptic variation of angle of attack on the length. I made and extrusion in the middle if you want to put a ball bearing.
