This Quadcopter is for only one purpose: Training LOS skills with a 250-class multicopter.
Warning: The mid-plate (zmr250-x2-mid.stl) should be made from CF-Board. It suffers the same problems as all similar designs: The 3D-printed part is not tough, PLA printed parts will crack because of vibrations. After some time the part will look like shattered security glass, with cracks all over.
You need 3mm ZMR 250 spare arms, get 4 of them for about 10$ at ebay.
Get 4 small zipties that fix the battery-holder. You can use a 20mm Velcro-Strap for the battery. In a hard crash the Zipties will break, whats maybe better for the battery. The zip-ties go through all three plates.
Use http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1684887 for a CC3D Atom, the green parts on the exploded view. This will stack your pdb, CC3D and RX. The stack is mounted to the mid-plate, the four screws can be accessed when everything is completed. You can also use any other flightcontroller (F3, F4) that supports 30.5x30.5mm-mounting.
The arms are fixed with 12mm or 16mm M3-Screws and locknuts, you need 16 of them. The PDB and FC are mounted with 30,5x30,5mm schema with M3-Screws. You need 4 10mm-M3 to fix the first Level Nylon-Spacer or 4 30mm-M3-Screws if you wan't to use my CC3D-stack.
You can use 5" or 6"-props, any small battery around 1000mAh to 2200mAh will be fine. I use http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1905550 as motor-protector.
AUW of my build is 417g with 3S 1300 mAh and 448g with 4S 1300mAh.
