This was a long time in development and now I am releasing the stl files. You can follow a build log here:http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2052857
The arms can be cut to any size you want, but I would keep it under 330mm. This quad was designed for extreme acrobatics. You will not find a quad lighter and as stiff as this one. You use 7.5mm carbon tube or arrow shafts for the arms. Replacement of broken arms is as easy as loosening 2 screws and sliding arm out. Makes for quick repair at the field.
Also designed to accommodate the "blue wonder" motors, or hobby king equivalent without using the silly mounting bracket. Does not use a set screw that crushes the bearing tube either.
A LOT of thought and development went into this design, you will not be disappointed! Do not over tighten the screws, everything is meant to give in a crash, but be strong enough to stay straight. I highly recommend taulmans t-glase or 645 nylon. Also Stratum3D 12-64 nylon to make these pieces.
Uses a flip32 or similar size FC, no KK2 here please.
