The Ficus Alii, commonly called the Banana leaf fig for the long and slender shape of its leaves, is a species native to southeastern Asia, India, and China. It is an evergreen often grown as a houseplant in temperate climates, with indoor varieties growing to heights of 6-10 ft in maturity, and has been observed to require less maintenance than other ficuses.
