This is my improved X-axis tensioner for the Anet A8 printer created in FreeCAD (blueprint attached). It fits better and you can use a 16T idler bearing (M3). To tension it, you need 2*M4 screws and nuts, which fit perefectly in the prepared holes. For the bearing you need a M3 screw and nut. To regulate tension, you only have to screw the screws more in / out. This kind of tensioner is much better, because it does not load the frame, only the metal bars (not the leadscrew and linear guidance. Another thing you need is a longer belt.
This thing is similar to the thing 1683070 , but with the difference, that the holes are bigger for M3/4 and you can use a toothed idler bearing(16T), and it fits better on my printer.
