This is a fully 3D printable WW2 USAAF enlisted collar disk. Like the rest of the US Army during WW2, USAAF enlisted men wore collar disks on the collars of their service coats and ike jackets. This specific pattern of collar disk was introduced in 1937, and was worn into the 1970s.
The USAAF collar disk has the wing and prop insignia on it. This disk would be worn on the left collar, while the U.S. collar disk would be worn on the right collar.
I have already designed the generic US collar disk, and will make a great pair with this one. I recommend 3D printing this with gold PLA, and supergluing 2 brooch-style pin backs to the back of this.
It will look great on a reproduction service coat or ike jacket. ww2 wwii us army air force corps enlisted collar disk war tank panzer airborne paratroopers infantry art coins badges coins badges
