They are the result of the difference between the cross-polarized version and the one containing the specular. The object can be subdivided in Zbrush or Mudbox (Heightmaps are extracted from Mudbox and tested in Zbrush). The structure has face sizes as constant as possible, has no n-sided, no non-Manifold. The scan is seamless. The texture is projected losslessly using RealityCapture's Texture Quality 100% option. The shot is taken with a consistent quality.
