This file was requested on the functional 3D printing FB group. This is the 110mm size which is ideally suited for holding 50 meters of 22AWG Wire. I used this calculator to plan the size... https://www.prioritywire.com/calculator_reel_capacity.php
Since the first question everyone asks me as if I hadn't considered it "Why not just use an empty filament spool?" Realize that a filament spool is WAY too large for this application.
Each spool consists of 2 halves pressed together. They should friction fit pretty well without coming apart, your tolerances and results may vary.
The only non-printable component of this is a .25" (~13mm) rod. This is used as an axel if using the spool holders. In my case I used a .25" steel rod from the hardware store cut down to length. I think wood would work as well.
