Winden Nuclear Power Plant - 2600 MW (+500 MW)

This is my adaptation of the ficticious Winden Nuclear Power Plant from the german Netflix show 'Dark'. The depicted Nuclear Power Plant has two units that look similar to the most common german PWR type, the (Pre-)Konvoi as constructed by the Kraftwerk Union all over Germany. This reactor type has an output of 1200 to 1400 MW. Additionally, in the show one can see two additional smaller units next to the large ones. Since the show dates the construction of the nuclear plant back to the 1960s, one can assume that those were prototype reactors as can still be found at several locations in Germany as well, most of them BWR with a secondary colling circle, such as Grundremmingen A and Lingen. The nuclear plant in its contemporary form seems to exist already in 1986, which dates the reactors to be of Pre-Konvoi design. Plants of that type can be found in Grohnde, Grafenrheinfeld and Brokdorf. #Dark #Nuclear #power_plant #electricity
