In the Golden age, the old Guardian was the most frequently seen Wexxian ship in the galaxy, but none survived the Necrid Discord war and the age of Decent. When the Wexxian Axon brought the Wexxians out of their misery and back into the light, the Reborn Wexxians considered new designs for their navy, in truth they did a complete re-design and started up from scratch. More aerodynamic and better steering the design is superior to the MK-1 in many ways, the new design was personally approved by Axon and the MK-2 was put into production immediately after the Reclamation. Still the backbone of the Wexxian Royal Navy, the Guardian follows the Wexxians principles of Speed, Style and Versatility. It is used for many of the Wexxians affairs, both in war and in peace. Having never had a real home planet, the space dwelling Wexxians consider their ships more than just means of transportation or machines of war, to Wexxians their ships are their homes. While some Wexxians choose to settle down on planets, most of the species spend their entire lives travelling among the stars. To the Wexxians, a Guardian is a city… a flying city.
