UPDATE 12/17/2020
Updated Wemos D1 Relay Shield cover to give 2.5mm more room under the lid.
UPDATE 8/15/2017
Updated to version 6.7:
Added base enclosure that does not include the horizontal support bar in the bottom
UPDATE 7/27/2017
Updated to version 6.5:
Main body has been modified to make USB connection easier for larger sized ends, as pointed out by a user (thanks for the input!)
Reset button has been extended 2mm to make it easier to push, and to help keep it from falling out when the board moves around
Relay shield cover has been thickened. This is to help clamp the relay and board more tightly in the case, as well as make it easier to use M4x25mm bolts, and have them flush on the bottom
Sketchup file updated to help remixing in the future
I will be slowly redoing the other tops as well to make them more form-fitting and will be including the LCD shield as well, as soon as I get through everything else :)
UPDATE 7/25/2017
Uploaded V5 of the files - cleanup in sizing, addition of DHT11/22 shield cover, and I also uploaded the SKP file for remixing. If you remix, please share! I'd love to see how this is being used!
UPDATE 4/7/2017
Re-uploaded the files after some cleanup - button and bottom case are now a better fit, and the locknut area has been cleaned up and improved.
Original Post This is a modular case I designed to house the Wemos D1 Mini ESP8266 controller, and associated shields.
This was inspired by rdpanek's "WemosD1mini - relay shield" (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2056423)
Currently a work in progress! I have the base cover and relay shield cover done, and waiting for a prototype and DHT shield to arrive, and I will create those covers as well. Currently, M4 hardware is used to hold down the cover (with M4 lock nuts recessed into the bottom)
Enclosure base includes a reset button as well, so that the device can be reset without having to remove power or remove it from the case.
This is my first "thing" so it is definitely a work in progress!
