EDIT - 09.11.2015
I added some simple rod ends with holes for M3 screws for adding braces to support the Z-assembly. They are angled so that the rods align with the bolts. I made my braces with 335mm long 5x6mm carbon fiber tubes with screws glued in the ends. 3mm carbon rods or 3mm inner diameter tubes with M3 threads glued in will be perfect. Use your maker ability to make the rods from materials available to you. RC shops usually carry carbon rods and tubes of various sizes. Use a 90° angle square to tram the Z-assembly in relation to the leveled bed. 335 mm long rods between the printed ends gave me a square printer.
I also reduced the height of the watermark so that it doesn't stand out as much.
These braces/stiffeners for the end plates on the Y-axis frame add a little rigidity to the flat sheet metal and also have four 26mm diameter feet for which to apply some rubber feet. Rubber pads often come in a 1" diameter, so they will fit nicely under the feet.
The ends have holes for inserting M3 screws for attaching braces for the vertical Z assembly. I suggest using M3 ball ends.
There is one version for the back and one version for the front. They will install without disturbing the alignment of the printer if you take care and make sure the remaining screws on the ends are tight.
Requires:
12 ea. M3x12mm or longer screws.
