We were fortunate enough to find ourselves with a spare iPad...


My wife was talking about how nice it would be to have a small TV mounted in front of our treadmill...

I happened across Hein0710's ipad mount for car headrests...
So I figured, "why not?" I created a really simple bracket that ties into the existing rods.
I printed a 10cm variant of the optional PVA rods that Ekerput had in his remix (Thanks Ekerput!). I also drilled a 1/16th inch hole through the rod so I could fashion a crappy holding pin into them. Don't want them sliding out on accident.
Materials:
I used 4 - #6 x 1" pan head machine screws and their respective hex nuts.
Elastic band I stole from my daughter - There's a set screw on the back of the center arm that you can use to permanently tighten that in place, but i like the idea of being able to remove the iPad without having to have a screw driver. Loop the elastic band through a hole in the center arm, and wrap it around the rods where they jut out.
If you were feeling adventurous, you could modify this to have the sunken gap for the hex nut, but I didn't think it was necessary.
