This is a subframe bushing insert I modeled for the P2 and P80 chassis Volvo's. It is inspired by the IPD Subframe Bushing inserts (linked below). I bought a spare bushing and created my own design as shipping their parts to Canada was fairly expensive after shipping and taxes/duties. The subframes on those chassis have "open-window" style bushings that allow lots of flex to create a smooth/quiet ride. When trying to lift or lower the car to get more performance out of the vehicle, these bushings have a tendency to wear easily and get a lot of slack; causing bad alignments, , clunking, sluggish response, etc. These inserts fill the windows in your new or worn bushings to make them much stiffer than stock. Simply unbolt the subframe bolts one at a time, remove the large washer, apply a bit of grease or silicone-based lubricant to the insert and put it in, then replace the washer and bolt (watch the IPD Install video linked below). Fitment is as follows:
Volvo 850 Model Year 1993 to 1997, P80 Chassis
Volvo C70 Model Year 1998 to 2002, P80 Chassis
Volvo S60 Model Year 2001 to 2009, P2 Chassis
Volvo S70 Model Year 1998 to 2000, P2 Chassis
Volvo S80 Model Year 1999 to 2006, P2 Chassis
Volvo V70 Model Year 1998 to 2007, P2 Chassis
Volvo XC70 Model Year 2001 to 2007, P2 Chassis
Volvo XC90 Model Year 2003 to 2014, P2 Chassis

Alternative Install from FCP Euro

Print Settings: I printed these at 0.20 layer height, 15% infill, 2 perimeters, with PLA (PETG would work fine as well), it's not a very complicated part, nothing extra needed.
