This is the result of a really long journey with the MMU2S, actually started in the same PRUSA factory as a tech support office project (yes, those guys you chat with) to improve the reliability of the MMU2S. At the time when it was presented, was not accepted due to the PRUSA plastic parts manufacture system, is not possible to print two different extruders for the same printer and that is why the chimney on the original extruder is there.
We all want solutions for the problems we encounter in our printers and as individuals can print new parts ourselves, here is where the VERTEX extruder for MMU2S+ comes in. Taking advantage of this freedom, we designed what we think and have been tested for so long one important solution for the extruder FS misreadings resulting in bad prints and frustration. I know a lot of MMU2S are in the box, give it another opportunity.

If you already have the latest MK3S+ extruder and MMU2S unit, you only need to print the parts named MOD.
If you want, you can skip printing the entire MMU unit again, the important upgrade is in the extruder.
You will need:
x3 20x6x2 neodymium magnet (x1 is included with the printer, the other two are optional)
x1 10x6x2 neodymium magnet (x1 is included with the printer)
x1 7mm metallic ball (x1 is included with the printer)
x7 M6/M8/M10 fittings (you can choose the size you want)
x1 2.5mm ID - 4mm OD or 3mm ID - 4mm OD and 40cm long (From MMU unit to extruder)
x1 M3x20mm screw

Este es el resultado de un viaje realmente largo con el MMU2S, que en realidad comenzó en la misma fábrica de PRUSA como un proyecto de oficina de soporte técnico (sí, esos tipos con los que charlas) para mejorar la fiabilidad del MMU2S. En el momento en que se presentó, no fue aceptado debido al sistema de fabricación de piezas plásticas de PRUSA, no es posible imprimir dos extrusores diferentes para la misma impresora y es por eso que la chimenea del extrusor original está ahí.
Todos queremos soluciones para los problemas que encontramos en nuestras impresoras y, nosotos como individuos, podemos imprimir piezas nuevas nosotros mismos, aquí es donde entra en juego la extrusora VERTEX para MMU2S+. Aprovechando esta libertad, diseñamos lo que pensamos y hemos probado durante tanto tiempo, una solución importante para los errores de lectura de la extrusora FS que resultan en malas impresiones y frustración. Si ya tienes el extrusor de MK3S + y la unidad MMU2S, solo necesitas imprimir las partes que empiezan con MOD.
Si quieres, puedes no imprimir la unidad MMU entera de nuevo, la actualización importante está en el extrusor.

x3 Imán de neodimio 20x6x2 (x1 se incluye con la impresora, dos imanes son opcionales)
x1 Imán de neodimio 10x6x2 (x1 se incluye con la impresora)
x1 Bola metálica de 7 mm (x1 se incluye con la impresora)
x7 Racores M6 / M8 / M10 (puede elegir el tamaño que desee)
x1 2.5 mm ID - 4 mm OD o 3 mm ID - 4 mm OD y 40 cm de largo (desde la unidad MMU hasta el extrusor)
x1 Tornillo M3x20mm
