Vermeer RT950 ROPS Frame Light Mounts by iowajames

These are mounts to bolt on the ROPS cage so LED flood lights can be mounted.
The holes for screw mounting are intended to fit 1.5" 6-32 machine screws with matching thread "Grip Fast" brand steel threaded inserts to be heat set in the mating holes on the second piece of the mount.
Excess screw will then be cut off after screwing on a nylock style nut to ensure machine vibration doesn't back the machine screw out over time.
The threaded insert is necessary for mount stability & to take the tension of the screw as opposed to just using a nylock nut directly.
Loctite could be used & the nylock nut left off, but I wouldn't recommend it.
Lights are meant to be mounted with the bolt and wires coming through & being shielded in the round open end. Lights above the mount.
The flood lights this is designed for are the 4 pack LED flood lights sold on Amazon under many different brand names. A sample link is provided below:
