UPDATE: As of December 26, 2013, this building is now literally history-it was torn down by that date and is currently an empty lot. An abandoned building on Fort Street next to the PNC Building. It originally opened as a Shopper's Fair discount store on Wednesday, March 7, 1962 at 10:00 AM, making it the 32nd Shopper's Fair location and it's seventh in the state of Michigan. It reopened as a Great Scott supermarket on May 15, 1973, then became an EL Rice catalog showroom by 1976 and 'Naum Brothers Inc.' by 1977. By 1997, this building was housing several state offices as well as the GLA #2 bingo hall.
