This is a steno board based on Emanuele Caruso's design.
I used the key panels as is but modified the case and used different electronics.
I decided to hand-wire it, so instead of a PCB I put inside three combs which hold the switches.
For that I got a slice (projection) of the case in OpenSCAD then added all the new parts in Autodesk 360 Fusion.
The new case is slightly slimmer than the original, actually the height was defined by the total height of the switches. Those that I found got rather fragile legs, so I left them straight and made the board thicker than I thought originally.
I used a ProMicro controller with QMK/Planck based firmware.
That is this board electronically is nothing but a split Planck board.
The layout is modified - there are three layers, two for Plover (TX Bolt and QWERTY modes) and the default one that only allows to switch into one of the layers for Plover.
The halves are connected with an HDMI cable - it turned out to be quite handy for the keyboard projects. There are 19 lines which is more than enough for this one.
