How low can you go! Trying to print N scale utility poles for 1930s era. N scale = 55% of things in slicer. Hopefully it's some use to your modelling!
Originals but drew inspiration from https://www.thingiverse.com/jotoo0a/designs
==========================
Experimenting with custom supports and orientations. I'd very much welcome any advice if you've gone down these roads before. Learned that the time investment on custom supports isn't usually worth it.
v4 Finally had upright and inclined prints. Upright is very brittle. The inclined version is a bit better quality but not sure I'd trade off almost 4x the time. Had fun playing with them and learned a lot.
v3 More epics failure on the upright and 45 degree versions. Flat version prints consistently but with a bit of messiness in the top. Packaged as a 6-pack. Will keep trying but it's reasonably solid.
v2 More solid supports but build time rockets up. Skinny and longer pole but compensated with bigger base.
v1 Epic fail. Supports were far too thin
