USS New Hampshire (BB-25)

This is my rendition of a ship similar to the USS New Hampshire. The old NH was the last member of the Connecticut class and was considered one of the most advanced ships of its era. She was commissioned from March 19, 1908 to May 21, 1921. She was the youngest ship when she sailed with the Great White Fleet from 1907 - 1909 and sailed off the coast of the Dominican Republic during the U.S Occupation. During WWI, she trained gunners and engineers in northern coastal waters and made four trips that brought home U.S soldiers in Brest, France. A few years later, the New Hampshire served as flagship for the special naval force in Haitian waters in 1921 and, on 25 January of the same year, sailed with the remains of Swedish Minister Wilhelm Ekerigren for Stockholm. #1908 #battleship #Great_White_Fleet #navy #New_Hampshire #steel #USS #WWI
