This is designed to replace the standard black knob on a push-off pull-on switch.
I will be using it to control the ATX power-on line, i.e. pin 13 to ground to turn the power supply on.
It will be part of my Printbot control panel, a WIP.
I can't recall where I got the switch, but presume it was in my local car accessories shop.
These are what old cars, really old, used as headlight switches. Without relays.
Note: Technically this switch would not qualify as a safety switch, but for me it will be enough for 12/24VDC.
UPDATE Feb 2013. I finished painting my print room and have been able to print some Things, including this.
v0-3 didn't work out well, see photos.
So I now have v0-4 with higher raised lettering (or parameter to recess), and wider at 17.5mm. Looks much better.
I also changed my slic3r retraction movement to 1mm, prints much cleaner, compare the middle one to the righthand one in the photo.
TIP: When utilising write.scad, use 'include' not 'use' as there are variables which don't get set when you use 'use'.
