2020-12-19 Update:
Be sure to read beyond this update!
I finally got a new phone!
Google Pixel 4A 5G
This is only available in the 4.8" center-to-center mount.
You need 2 screws 1-5/8 to 2" long for this.
I use #8 deck screws, since I had them.
Big changes here are the phone width with my bumper cover is ~160.5mm
Also, I changed it from the DODGE Logo to the RAM Logo!
The sides that cradle the phone thinner.
This is because I use a right angle USB-C charging cable and the thicker sides wouldn't allow it to plug in securely.
Also I lowered the stanchion height and removed the bevel to angle from beveling back.
This is because the new phone is not as tall, so the overall width of the phone and cradle are narrower. This meant I could lower the cradle more so it sits more flush with the dash.
Finally, I recommend you change the fill from 20%, to at least 60%.
This is because PLA is more affected by heat, even in New England.
What fits today, may not fit tomorrow, ask me how I know! :)
The higher infill should strengthen the entire cradle from drooping in the heat.
Print time @ 60% fill is 10.5 hours due to the higher in-fill. (up from 7.5 hours @ 20% fill)
As you may notice, I do 2 colors. I set Cura to pause at ~13.4mm so I can swap the colors.
I do a red back and front black.
This is because the black doesn't hit everywhere I need, because of the slanted front.
So buy doing the front black, I can just use a black marker to fill in those small spaces so it looks natural. So as long as the front is black, you can really use any color out back, or just use one color!
At this time, I do not plan on modifying the old Pixel 2XL mount for the RAM logo.
While this may change, I don't feel it is worth the time.
It is difficult to modify the Fusion 360 files due to the heavy changes I have made along the way. Sorry about that.
Maybe you can convince me to change things as needed.
I am always up for suggestions and improvements!!!
Note:
There are two STL Files, so be sure to grab the right one.
Only File has 4.8" Centers with tall stansions.
The Other file has ~5.5" Centers with low 5mm stansions.
I say ~5.5", because I don't know the actual dimensions since I don't own that version of the truck. If you have more precise measurements, let me know so I can adjust it!
Be sure to grab the right version.
Please check measurements before you start, as I don't own the truck with the 5.5" centers, so I had to make assumptions.
Also, PLA in a vehicle shrinks and warps.
What fits today, may not tomorrow, I learned this the hard way.
First off, thank you again to tagscott for providing the Fusion 360 files.
I have a 2014 DODGE RAM 1500 Laramie Crew Cab.
It appears there are differences with RAM's from the same year, so measure first!
This latest version requires 2 x 2.5inch #8 screws.
The factory ~3/4 inch screws aren't going to do it.
Do not over-tighten!
This is a work in progress to make what's best for me.
I am working on the NextGen which will use even less PLA and be more trim.
Mod's will be listed from oldest to newest.
The NextGen Holder (My name for it) will be listed below as future.
Please ask questions, as I have made changes constantly to this.
PLA tends to shrink in the vehicle, so keep that in mind.

Neo NextGen
Apologies, life got busy and in the way.
I have been using a newer variant of this prototype for many, many months.
PLA does warp in sun, so other materials should be considered as well.
Right now I only have this available in the 4.8" Center to Center Bolt Pattern.
Please offer feedback. I have been busy, but plan to update as I find ways to improve this.
Mod's from 2018-07-14
I made a few changes to tagscott's original v2 design..
The bolt on center for the original design was 5.5".
I changed this to 4.75". This meant moving the stanchions, mounting holes and extrusions inward.
Not sure why RAM's have different size trays, but they do and this caused me trouble in wasted PLA.
My fault for not measuring up.
I also changed the stanchion mounts from the original ~3/16" to about 1 inch.
This was because the base was too wide for my dash tray.
If I did it again, I may have left the stanchion at 3/16", but created some stanchion spacers/standoffs and wedges so I could vary the height.
If the 1" stanchion's ever break, that's another 11 hours to print a new one.
I also had to shrink the DODGE Logo down to .9. (90%)
This is because the logo protruded into bolt extrusion bosses.
(As mentioned above, the extrusions, holes and stanchions were moved inward because the mounting distance.)
I also shifted the DODGE logo over about 1-2mm to center it better for my truck.
Finally, I made a cutout of loop where my Google Pixel 2 XL camera resides.
This will allow me to use the Camera as a type of dash cam.
However, for this, I will need to add a washer or two, or print out a stanchion wedge to lift the mount a little higher.
Overall, I'm happy with the outcome.
Next time, I will tackle placing a magnet on the mount and one behind the Caseology case.
This will keep the phone in place during more extreme situations or angles.
Oh, my design required the use of 2" #8 screws that Lowe's had in their car fastener section.
I may go to 2.5" if I add washers or wedges,

New Mod's
The big change you will see is removing much of the back of the stand.
This does a few things.
Saves big on PLA
Print time drops from 10.5 hours to 7.5 hours according to CURA.
Makes it more universal to phones with cameras in slightly different locations.
Finger print sensor in back is now accessible
It is lower profile than before.
The Logo protruding still serves as back support for the phone under heavy breaking.
And it plain old looks bad-arse with the Logo sticking out! I would like to color in the DODGE and RAM Logo with some red paint.
I made the support stanchions narrower as they were interfering and were too large.
I also increased the height of the stanchion a little bit more to clear the tray on one side.
Since I narrowed the stanchions, I worried about strength and longevity, so I added a filet where the stanchions meet the base.
It looks cool like that too! lol
Finally the width is slightly less.
I felt it was slightly wide for my Pixel 2 XL.
This was not necessary, but I felt I was making changes, so why not?
Future mod's will include wrap around at the base to hold the phone in place better under hard acceleration.

New Mod's
Two new versions up.
One has tabs in the front to keep the phone from falling off during hard acceleration.
The other one has more of a wrap around and has filet's everywhere!

Basically stanchions, DODGE and RAM logos are original.
I have made changes to the cradle so it is a constant area at the phone.
More filets and improves pieces.
Mod's to come?
Calling it RAM 1500 NextGen
DODGE and RAM logo to be extruded all the way through with a clear back and some color or hopefully lighting.
Problems I have encountered with the design is when using less PLA has caused warping in hot cars causing fitment issues.
Possible detachable so it can be removed for those times you simply don't want it there.
Thank you again tagscott.
Not sure if it's okay to post a link, so please remove if necessary.
Progress of my builds will be placed in this Playlist.
