For Christmas my dad asked that I make him things with my 3d printer. He is a former Marine so I thought I would put that insignia on some golf stuff for him. I got this from a 3d file of a ring, sliced it with netfab, cleaned it with tinkercad, repaired it with https://netfabb.azurewebsites.net and printed it on my printrbot. I printed it at 200% size... keep that in mind and scale up as needed. Penny included in shot for size reference.
I really need to reprint at a larger size. So much that looks like stringy mess on this print is actually the rope that is wrapped around the anchor.
