Unifi US-16-150W switches are notorious for failures stemming from overheating issues, and despite the switch having two 30 mm fans, it hardly ever turns them on. A Redditor had a great idea on how to cool the switch down. I took their solution a step further, and installed 40 mm fans in my switch instead of 30 mm, which helped drop the temperature by an additional 5°C.
When installing, place the 40 mm fan over the pins of the adapter, and screw the adapter into the chassis, where the 30 mm fan was. There's no need to glue or screw the fan to the adapter, since the PCB will keep the fan in place.
You will want to use either PETG or ABS for printing this, since PLA will degrade over time, and most likely crack where you put the screw in within a year or two.
