UAB Designs F-Series Lantern Set. I've made and produced 1000's of these. The models are proven, rings are comfortable. These were originally designed to be resin printed, molded and cast in urethane. Please take note, each ring has a base and sprues for molding and casting. Which also doubles as supports which can be directly printed on the bed if you choose. You will need to cut these off if you choose to wear a printed version, though they look a lot better cast in resin as you can see in the 1st photo. The base also serves as a stand for both castings or prints so you can add a second color. There are NO inserts or MTL files for multi-color prints. You will need to print them, stand them upright and either fill them with some type of colored resin or use some enamel or acrylics. I'm providing files, not a step by step instruction manual to duplicate what I've done. If you wish to achieve something close to what I have done, you will need pressure pots, mold making materials, casting resin, dyes, effects, an oven to treat them and the knowledge of how to do that correctly followed by alot of sanding and polishing and the tools for that as well. Again, all I'm providing are the files to do so. These can be printed in any material, in SLA/LCD or FDM/FFF printer. The quality you achieve is completely upto you. A lot of the new resin printers have most of the colors needed to do these right. You could print the green lantern ring in a translucent green, trim, sand and hit it with some clear acrylic and wear it. Same for the rest, FDM/FFF will require a little more finish work to look good. There are over 90 ring sizes in the US/CA scale. I am NOT providing each ring size nor will I be scaling them for you. I just dont have the time. If you have some kinda 3d modeling software or a friend you can ask, its pretty simple. Create a cylinder with the correct diameter ring size you need, insert the cylinder inside the band and then scale the model up or down around the cylinder until it looks like it fits good. Update or save the new model size, export and print. I've provided 13 differen't models, FS stands for F-Series, the color FS_RED and then size FS_RED_11 *example... F-Series RED Size 11. Currently looking at the files there are 8,9,10,11,12 & 13 US/CA rings. Not for each corps, each ring varies, consider it a starting point though a few may fit you to start. If you purchase this set, you will have every design and each design will vary in size. You will know the current sizes by looking at the file name, its upto you to size them bigger or smaller as needed.
