I really wanted a metal mount for my dragon hotend and took a lot of inspiration from the mint mount. In fact I am using the cooling ducts from the mint mount, you can find them here (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4716358).
I run my printing in an enclosure and have it set up for printing high temp materials. This is best accomplished at a heat level close to the glass transition temperature the material you are printing and if it has a glass transition temperature close to or above the material your mount is printed with, then you will lose rigidity in your motion system. If you take the time to ensure that your motion system is rigid, why would you run your hotend on a plastic mount and a heated environment?
This is my solution using the original mount from the Sapphire Plus, cut down to save weight, and taking inspiration from the best the community has on offer.
Fist cut down your original hotend mount as per the images provided, then just print the cooling fan mounts, mint mount ducts
I used an e3d v6 fan mount, then mount the dragon hotend at 45 degrees to hold the fan mount, and then assemble and good to go.
