I have a 32" LG mounted above my triple monitor setup. Unfortunately the speakers come out the bottom and the sound is directed away from me and across the room so I came up with this sound duct to redirect it up and over my computer monitors. There are 2, the 2nd is just a mirror of the 1st. I'm having to make it in several pieces and acetone glue them together. More pics to come as I finish printing the duct pieces out.
Final Update: All done, the Acetone glue solution worked like a champ for assembly. I had a bad surprise when I went to fit it to the TV when and the Support arms for my monitors was about 1cm in the way. So off to the miter saw where I set up a support block to hold it at the right angle while I very carefully and slowly cut off the offending section. I would print out a flat piece to match what I had to cut off but another part was in the printer, so I just cannibalized a DVD case. I can't see it anyways and it got the job done.
As you can see from the pictures the oval to circle transition has given me a lot of problems. The oval wants to spread into a circle causing to part to lift off the base. I added a stiffener and that helped some but it still half lifted off.
Edit: Next part the right angles. Not sure what Slic3r did, but after looking at the Gcode I saw slic3r put the support width at .18mm. The next one I used a 10x10 grid and it generated the support @ the normal .85mm. Also slic3r is not ignoring 75% or more overhangs. Not sure what's going on with that.
The flat curves I used a 5m grid for support. It was really hard to get our with needle nose pliers so I tried a couple different ideas that didn't work too well, but I ended up using a 1/2' drill bit to auger it out.
