Tri-tetraflexagon for Flexible TPU Filament
A tri-tetraflexagon with six 25mm x 25 mm squares; note that the 7th square overlaps with another to form a loop. I started this as a design experiment using flexible TPU filament, which turns out to be a great project.
To print, please rotate as necessary to fit the strip on the printer bed. Once it is printed, one should fold it in a way that allows for the same letters (A or B or C) to show up on one side of the big square (see figures). Then, super-glue the two squares with no letters for a tetraflexagon.
Paper models are usually used with children. However, in this case, I would say a flexible TPU model feels better. Have fun and re-imagine mathematics teaching and learning.
