- Wear on wrist (convenient, but less effective location)
- Wear outside hand (good location, but noticeable in public)
- Wear inside hand (less noticeable, but need to adjust grip)

3) Hand Weight with "Ring" Handle (less noticeable, but need to adjust grip)

Building on B. Spangler's idea of wearable weights, this concept conceals the device as a smart watch or fitness tracker. The weight and springs could be sealed in a fluid-filled cavity.

In this round version, some adjustment can be achieved by rotating the face of the watch to orient the springs. Alternatively, multiple springs could be used to suspend the weight equally.

If mounting the device on a watchband is not adequate, then it could be mounted onto a wrist cuff or wrist brace.
